Integration with Sinch for SMS

Sinch integration setup is only available for KLaunch and SmartBot360 internal team members and partners.

To deploy bots on SMS with Sinch, first create a service API in the Sinch dashboard in SMS → Service APIs.

Then, acquire one or more phone numbers in your Sinch account. Submit an SMS campaign for the phone numbers, assign the numbers to the service API you created, and ensure the service API supports two-way communication (you may need to contact your Sinch account manager to complete these steps). Set one of the phone numbers as the service API’s default originator.

Next, create an app via the Sinch dashboard in Conversation API → Apps. Set up an SMS channel for the app by entering the service plan ID of the service API you created. Contact your Sinch account manager to add the MMS channel to the app.

Adding Sinch to Your KLaunch Account

In the KLaunch dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → SMS/MMS Carrier Integration and select “KLaunch Messaging” and “Sinch” in the first two drop-down menus. Add your app ID, project ID, access key ID and access key and click Save.

Adding a Sinch Phone Number to Your KLaunch Account

In the last drop-down menu in Settings → Integrations → SMS/MMS Carrier Integration, select the phone number you want to add and click the Link Phone Number button.

Once you set up your Sinch integration, you can go to the CHATBOTS page to deploy a bot to the linked phone number.
