June 2023 - SmartBot360 Joins Forces with KLaunch
We are excited to announce that SmartBot360 has merged with KLaunch LLC (pronounced K-Launch), a subsidiary of the Global communications company, Kerauno.
KLaunch is headquartered in Indianapolis Indiana, with national presence and expertise in building effective conversational AI, experiential mobile messaging, and customer engagement workflows.
KLaunch has been a long time partner of SmartBot360 and SmartBot360 is thrilled to expand capabilities, blend technologies and expertise and join their organization to better serve our current and future clients. We have seen tremendous growth in partnership with KLaunch as our teams have been working together for several years. We will now have access to even greater resources with experienced conversational AI designers, marketers and customer experience experts to better serve you.
SmartBot360 customers will see no changes in the platform or customer service, except possibly the branding of the software.
The billing invoices will be gradually modified to reflect the KLaunch brand.

SmartBot360's Founder Vagelis Hristidis, in collaborations with his colleagues, published a paper on how to extract entites from user text. For example, if the user types “Do you accept Blue Cross as an insurance,” we can extract the entity (slot) insurance='“Blue Shield”. January 2021 - SmartBot360 Founder receives best paper award for research on optimizing bot execution
SmartBot360's Founder Vagelis Hristidis, in collaborations with his colleagues, published a paper on how to automatically optimize the flow of a chatbot to maximize user engagement and minimize user drop-out. August 2020 - Research on Using Deep Learning to Paraphrase Chatbot Responses
SmartBot360's Founder Vagelis Hristidis, in collaborations with his colleagues, published a paper on how to automatically paraphrase the response of a chatbot, while maintaining its original meaning. This is a key step towards making chatbots more natural and human-like. The research paper was published at the ACM KDD conference (Special Interest Group on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining) 2020, which is the premier international forum on Data Mining. Ten companies were selected after two rounds of filtering, to present to major investors and VCs.
September 2019 - Humanized Computing and Communication Conference
SmartBot360's Founder Vagelis Hristidis published a paper at HCC 2019 on how to cluster chatbot sessions. The paper discusses how to measure the similarity between two chatbot messages or sessions, and use this similarity metric to group sessions together. This allows an administrator to easily view a summary of thousands of chat logs (sessions) by viewing a single representative session from each cluster (group). Session clustering is available in the Analytics page of the SmartBot360 Management Dashboard.
